Executing a Shell Script
To run a shell script, open a terminal and navigate to the directory where the script is located. Then, type the following command: ./script.sh. The “./” before the script name specifies the current directory.
If the shell script is located in a directory listed in the system’s PATH variable, it can be executed from any location without specifying the directory.
